This itty bitty symmetrical heart is crafted especially for children's prints as an alternative to my traditional oval fingerprint design. As a smaller heart, this pendant measures approximately 3/4" across at its fullest point by 1/2" in length. To create this small necklace, a fingerprint impression is molded in fine silver and hand-cut into a free-form symmetrical heart; as a result, the heart shape may vary a bit. I cut each of these pendants to optimize the amount of print that I can include. After firing, the entire pendant is oxidized (or darkened), hand polished, and tumbled to create a beautiful patina that highlights all of the unique ridges and valleys of your loved one's fingerprint. A sterling silver jump ring is soldered to the center of the pendant, and it is hung on a delicate 18" sterling cable chain. Up to three initials may be added to the back of the heart at no extra cost.
Upon purchase, a simple fingerprint molding kit will be mailed to you with a return envelope included. Please see my shop announcements for the most accurate information regarding current creation times!
