These itty bitty symmetrical hearts are crafted especially for children's prints as an alternative to my traditional oval fingerprint design. As a smaller heart, each pendant measures just under 3/4" across at its fullest point by approximately 1/2" in length.
To create this delicate necklace, custom fingerprint impressions are molded in fine silver and hand-cut into a free-form symmetrical heart; as a result, the heart shape may vary a bit from the sample photos shown. After firing, the entire pendant is oxidized (or darkened), hand polished, and tumbled to create a beautiful patina that highlights all of the unique ridges and valleys of your loved one's fingerprint. A sterling silver jump ring is soldered to the center of each pendant, and the two prints are hung on an 18" sterling silver rolo chain. Up to three initials may be added to the back of each heart at no extra cost.
Upon purchase, a simple fingerprint molding kit will be mailed to you with return postage included. The molding material is non-toxic and takes just seconds to achieve very detailed fingerprints.
